FAQs

How far in advance should we book your services for our wedding?

It’s advisable to book your wedding photographer 9-12 months in advance, especially during peak wedding seasons. However, I do accommodate last-minute bookings if my schedule permits.

What is your photography style?

I specialize in a blend of documentary, photojournalism and fine art photography, capturing candid moments and creating timeless, artistic images that tell the story of your special day.

Will you be the primary photographer at our wedding?

Yes. It will always be me

Do you provide a second photographer or assistant?

Yes, if you require one. I have a close knit group of five friends I go-to for being my second photographer. I trust them and consider them on the same level as me, so when you see the final gallery you won’t be able to tell who took the photographs. That way you get a seamless product, and a much better set of pictures.

Can we customize a photography package to suit our specific needs?

Absolutely! I offer flexible packages and am happy to tailor them to meet your unique requirements. Let’s discuss your preferences and create a personalized package that fits your vision and budget.

How many photos can we expect from our wedding day, and how will they be delivered?

The number of photos varies depending on the duration of coverage and the events of the day. On average, you can expect around 400-600 high-resolution images. I provide the final edited photos in a secure online gallery, and you will have the option to download, share, and order prints.

What are your payment terms and options?

A deposit is required to secure your date and then the final balance is due two weeks before the wedding date.

Do you include an engagement shoot in your packages?

Yes, an engagement shoot is included in some of my packages. It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, and for you to feel comfortable in front of the camera. However, it’s optional, and we can discuss whether it fits your needs.

Are you familiar with our wedding venue?

I have experience working at a variety of venues across the UK. If I haven’t worked at your specific venue before, I will visit it beforehand to familiarize myself with the layout and plan for the best photo opportunities.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

I’m prepared for all weather conditions. In case of rain, I have equipment to protect my gear, and we can get creative with indoor or covered locations for photos. I also embrace the beauty of rainy day shots.

Can we provide you with a list of specific shots we want?

Absolutely! I encourage you to share any specific shots or moments you have in mind. This helps me understand your priorities and ensures that I capture all the important aspects of your day.

How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?

You can expect to receive your fully edited wedding photos within 3-4 weeks after your wedding day. I strive to maintain a balance between delivering promptly and ensuring the highest quality of work.

Do you have contingency plans for unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or emergencies?

Absolutely, I’m fortunate to have an amazing network of friends and colleagues organized in an emergency Facebook group. In case of an unexpected situation, a notification is sent out to everyone, and we collectively devise a solution. While it’s not something anyone wishes to dwell on, unforeseen events can happen, so it’s reassuring to have this support system in place. If, by any chance, something unexpected were to occur on my end, rest assured that your special day will never be left without a dedicated photographer.
